Yours

"Profile": your photo, name, email, time zone, the day weeks start on, the clock, and "Theme" ("Light", "Dark", "Same as computer"). "New messages": the popup, desktop notification and sound when a guest writes. "WhatsApp": your own number. "Notifications": what reaches you by email and WhatsApp, and the daily digest. "Your signature", under "Guest messages", goes under the replies you send.

The account's

"General": the account's name, which owners see in their invitations, and logo; only an admin changes them. "Guest messages" links to automatic messages. "Saved replies": the answers you type most. "Operations": the cleaning rules (set on Tasks) and same-day turnovers, always on. Admins also have "Payments" ("Connect with Stripe" for your website), "Seroia" (how it answers guests), "Owners on WhatsApp" (what owners hear) and "Team".

Sync

1. 1Open "Sync": each channel shows how many units are live or still waiting, and the last change sent.
2. 2A broken unit shows "Fix unit", opening its page; otherwise "Check now" asks whether each channel account still takes updates, and names any to connect again.

An owner's Settings

"Profile", "New messages", "WhatsApp" once the admin lets owners hear anything, "Payments" for their own Stripe once they have a website, "Your channels" to put a home on Booking.com, and "Working together" with "Stop working together", which also disconnects their Stripe.

What Hostomat does by itself

• The theme is kept in this browser only: another one starts on "Light".

If it didn’t work

I only see Profile.

A read-only person's Settings hold their profile and theme alone.

"Only an admin can change these."

Only admins change the account's name and logo, and only they see Payments, Seroia, Owners on WhatsApp and Team. Ask one.
